Front of House Team Member at The Food Cellar
One of our much-loved team members is off to begin an exciting new adventure—starting her teacher training in September. We are absolutely thrilled for her, but it does mean we’ve got some pretty big boots to fill. So, if you think you’ve got what it takes, we’d really love to hear from you.
We’re on the lookout for someone warm, welcoming, and passionate about great customer service. If you’ve got experience as a barista in a café or similar environment, love working with people, and thrive in a café/restaurant setting then you could be just who we’re looking for.
For this role we are specifically looking for someone who is over 18 years of age.
What you’ll be doing:
- Making and serving a variety of hot and cold drinks
- Greeting customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations
- Keeping The Food Cellar clean, organised, and running smoothly
- Handling cash and card payments with care and accuracy
- Working closely with our friendly team to ensure every customer has a great experience
- Helping with stock – restocking, keeping an eye on supplies, and staying on top of what’s needed
- Always maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness and hygiene
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as a barista or working in a similar customer-facing role
- A friendly, approachable attitude and great communication skills
- The ability to juggle tasks while keeping calm under pressure
- A genuine enthusiasm for good food, good coffee, and good company
- Someone looking to work between 20-30 hours a week to include a weekend day and occasional evenings for events.
