Since opening last October The Food Cellar has made a name for itself for its fantastic menu and inviting atmosphere. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and creating a welcoming environment for all our guests.
Role Overview: As the Team Leader, you will be the face of our establishment. You will lead by example, ensuring that every guest receives outstanding service from the moment they walk through our doors. Your responsibilities will include managing the front of house team, overseeing daily operations, and maintaining our high standards of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Supervise and support front of house staff, ensuring they provide top quality service.
- Handle customer enquiries, reservations, and special requests efficiently.
- Manage seating arrangements and maintain a smooth flow of service.
- Oversee cleanliness and organization of the dining and service areas.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Conduct regular staff training sessions to maintain high service standards.
- Assist in creating and running events.
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven experience in a front of house management role in a café, bistro, or deli.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Strong leadership abilities and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Keen attention to detail and a passion for hospitality.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings as required.
