La Grupa Malbec

From the high-altitude vineyards of Mendoza, La Grupa Malbec is a bold yet approachable expression of Argentina’s flagship grape. Deep purple in colour, it opens with an inviting nose of ripe blackberry, plum and red cherry, complemented by subtle notes of violet and a hint of spice.

On the palate, it is smooth and fruit-forward, with juicy dark berry flavours layered alongside touches of cocoa and gentle spice. Soft, rounded tannins and balanced acidity give structure while keeping the wine easy-drinking, leading to a supple, lingering finish.

A versatile and crowd-pleasing red, it pairs perfectly with grilled meats, steaks and barbecued dishes, as well as rich pasta, pizza and mature cheeses.
